Mayor Visits Cape Town’s First-Ever Solar Plant in Atlantis

On 19 July, in the spirit of Nelson Mandela Day, Lesedi proudly handed over a multi-active media centre to Witsands Primary School. The centre features a boardroom-style setup and a comfortable library section designed to encourage reading and learning in a welcoming environment.
Principal Mr. Matthyse expressed deep appreciation for the significant contribution, stating:
“Lesedi has given us a quality facility that uplifts the dignity of underprivileged learners, allowing them to experience what a well-resourced school environment feels like.”
He further shared that the media centre will have a lasting impact on the school, not only as a learning hub but also as a potential source of income. By hiring out the space for meetings, the school will be able to fund other important initiatives to benefit its learners.
